27.08.2012 - Organic waste for biogas plant

The waste collection in our case study “Bag 7” started at the 15^th of August with more than 70 families and finished at the 22^th of August. The aim of this collection is to find out how much organic waste and recyclable waste (plastic, metal, paper, …) can be collected in the total bag. In future, the organic substances should be used in the biogas plant for a co-fermentation. For the recyclable fractions, we are planning options for treatment facilities. Furthermore, we are developing a conception for a collection system and its implementation in “Bag 7” representatively for the ger settlements in Darkhan.
